Healthy-Holiday After Thoughts, Reflections and Celebrations

There is something in the after-Christmas air that gets us dreaming. For me, it's my wedding anniversary today. Looking back brings me some sorrow, but mostly joy. Maybe the after thoughts that bring me to present thoughts (and not the kind under the tree!) are the best of all.

These are the grateful thoughts- the joy filled thoughts. When I'm with family and friends who love me, I feel I can be my best self. When my husband, Mark, has his arm draped over my shoulder along the back of the couch, I feel like I can do a lot more good for myself and others. When my grandkids look up at me, trying to reach goals seems possible. Maybe that's what happens with the New Year. Maybe it's a space in time where we are willing to accept changes for the better because the people around us know we can.

This year I'm carving out some space to make short term goals for long term results. I know that sounds impossible, but I have a secret stash of awesome ways to get faster lasting impact on my personal life. So I can feel better about myself and be able to spend quality time with those dear people. It might be time for you too. - to feel better and be stronger and healthier- not the every year resolution of losing weight, but the everyday desire to be there for family and be healthy enough to enjoy helping out.

Personally, and as a Holistic Health, Life coach and Terrafit fitness coach, I have had remarkable results improving my endurance and increasing my metabolism (and getting toned up and stronger) in a short burst of time. That is worth reflecting on.
