The Secret to Staying Green
This recipe is NOT for the queasy stomached person
This is how I was introduced to "green smoothies" 20 years ago.
I was really, really sick. I had been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia. And my doctor, working with a Naturopathic Doctor recommended that I change up my diet and add a lot of greens and vegetables to my diet.
I thought I already had.
But here is the GREEN MONSTER SMOOTHIE I only recommend if you hold your nose and drink copious amounts of water after chugging 12 Ounces of this down. It worked it's magic and I did get a better immune system and able to enjoy life some more, but man, it took every ounce of courage I could muster to down that glass every morning for an entire year!!
The Secret? You need a goal worth fighting for. What would it take for you to change?
REALLY GREEN MONSTER SMOOTHIE
Use only Organic Vegetables when blending. Give your Kidneys and Liver a break.
3 leaves Romaine Lettuce (Organic only and washed in good, non chlorine distilled or reverse osmosis water)
1 Roma Tomato
3 cloves of Garlic
1 TBS Olive Oil
I stick of celery
1/4 C Cilantro (you could use 2 drops of therapeutic grade essential oil for this!)
Up to 1 cup of purified water
1/4 Green pepper
